Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 September 2026
This policy explains what Fala — the app and falaapp.space, operated by [operator legal name, registration number, address, Georgia] — collects about you, why, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. Short version: we collect what a reading needs, we do not sell data, and you can delete everything from the app.
1. What we collect
- Account. Your e-mail address and name as your Google or Apple account provides them, and a user id we create. Signing in with Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your e-mail.
- Birth details. Date, time and place of birth, if you add them — they are what a natal chart and a personal horoscope are computed from. A partner's birth details for a compatibility reading, which you must have their permission to enter.
- What you give a reading. Photos of a coffee cup or a palm, dream descriptions, the cards you draw, your question and mood.
- Your readings and a short "what the oracle has noticed" summary written from your own readings, which you can erase from Profile.
- Purchases. Which products you bought, when, and the status of each purchase. Never your card number — Apple, Google and Flitt hold that.
- Device and usage. A push-notification token if you turn the morning horoscope on, your language and time zone, and anonymous analytics and crash reports (screens opened, features used, errors).
2. Why we use it
To produce your horoscopes, charts and readings; to run your account, balance and subscription; to send the morning horoscope or a note about your subscription if you asked for notifications; to fix crashes and understand which features are used; and to meet legal obligations such as keeping payment records.
3. Who else processes it
- OpenAI writes the text of readings and horoscopes from your inputs (birth details, photo, dream text, cards). We send only what the reading needs; OpenAI's API terms do not allow it to train models on this data.
- Supabase hosts our database, sign-in and functions ([hosting region]).
- Google Firebase — Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance — for anonymous usage, crash and performance data. Expo delivers push notifications.
- RevenueCat records purchases made through the app stores so your subscription works on all your devices; Apple and Google process those payments.
- Flitt processes payments made on falaapp.space; card data goes to Flitt directly and never reaches us.
- Google and Apple as sign-in providers.
We do not sell personal data and do not show third-party advertising tied to your data.
4. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Photos are stored only as long as needed to produce the reading and are then kept with it; you can delete a reading from your journal at any time. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires. Deleting your account (Profile → Account → Delete) removes your profile, readings, charts, photos and balance; anonymous analytics cannot be linked back to you.
5. Your rights
You can see and change your details in the app, export your readings by sharing them, and delete your account yourself. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to processing, by writing to [support e-mail]; we answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
6. Children
Fala is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
7. International transfers
Our providers process data in the European Union and the United States. Where the law requires, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by those providers.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top says when. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
